Manju becomes world number two boxer by defeating poverty


(Harleen Kaur, Intern Journalist) Rohtak, The story of Manju Rani, a female boxer from Haryana, is unique and inspires her to fight her way to her destination. 20-year-old Manju Rani has not lost her courage despite poverty and scarcity and is now the number two female boxer in the world. She was never deterred by the lack of facilities. Manju, a resident of Rithal Phogat village, practices by tying punching bags to a neem tree outside the house, and the Olympics is her main target.
